Ai and human resource management: Exploring the role of artificial intelligence in recruitment, talent acquisition, and employee retention

Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force in Human Resource Management (HRM), revolutionizing recruitment, talent acquisition, and employee retention. Organizations are increasingly adopting AI-driven tools such as chatbots, predictive analytics, and machine learning algorithms to streamline HR processes, enhance decision-making, and improve employee engagement. This paper investigates the role of AI in HRM, focusing on recruitment, talent acquisition, and retention. The study uses a mixed-method approach primary data collected through a survey of HR professionals and employees, and secondary data derived from peer-reviewed journals, reports, and industry case studies. Findings reveal that AI improves efficiency, reduces bias in hiring, and enhances employee experience, but challenges remain in terms of data privacy, ethical considerations, and over-reliance on technology. Suggestions are provided for sustainable integration of AI in HR practices.
