Diversity in maxillary premolars: From historical records to contemporary case finding

Author(s): Aishwarya Arya

Abstract: Maxillary first premolars typically present with one or two roots and canals. However, anatomical variations such as the presence of three roots and three canals can occur, complicating endodontic therapy. The use of magnification and advanced imaging played a pivotal role in the diagnosis and management of this unusual anatomy.
