Abstract: Modern dentistry usually involves health-related aspects, and Ayurvedic and Homeopathic systems of care provide holistic patient-centered approaches. This study aimed to investigate the feasibility and acceptability of integrating Ayurvedic and Homeopathic systems of care into dental care. An exploratory mixed-methods approach was used that involved surveys, interviews and case studies with 95 participants, including current dental professionals, patients and institutional experts. The results found a substantial awareness (83.3%) and perceived efficacy (80%) pertaining to the modality among practitioners, high satisfaction reported by patients in selecting these care modalities, and that although a majority of practitioners identified their formal training as inadequate (35%), institutional experts were in unanimous support of integration, highlighting long-term preventative benefits, and need for patient centred policies. Overall, the findings presented a feasibility for the integration of Ayurvedic and Homeopathic systems of care in dental practice but would require a more structured approach to education and regulation.
