From chalkboards to digital boards: The evolution of educational apps in India through digital transformation

Abstract:
The digital transformation in education has substantially changed how educational institutions function and impart knowledge. Incorporating cutting-edge technology into educational frameworks, such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics and the Internet of Things (IoT), is driving this transition. Digital technology has been of significant interest to researchers as educational institutions worldwide undergo a digital transition. These Digital advancements have significantly improved student performance and the efficiency of teaching and learning. During the pandemic, these digital technologies also guarantee the stability and sustainability of schooling. Technology breakthroughs, corporate sector investments, and government initiatives have sped up India’s shift to digital education. The study aims to include participants from various educational institutions, such as administrators, teachers, and students. Each group receives customised open-ended questionnaires that centre on views and experiences related to digital transformation and some secondary data gathered from websites. This paper investigate how the technological revolution in education upgrade instruction, learning atmosphere, administrative effectiveness, and accessibility. This paper will inquire India’s top ten educational applications, their usefulness, and their effects on teaching and learning. Platforms like SWAYAM have allowed digital technologies into regular teaching by offering the required infrastructure and assistance. Additionally, it found a few Indian case studies of digital transformation. Using a thorough analysis, this paper focus on, to offer insights into how the digital transition is transforming and upgrade the education and what it implies for new educational paradigms.
