Abstract:
What is the true worth of our material progress if we cannot ensure the mental, emotional, and educational well-being of the very youth who are the foundation of our nation's future? The rising incidence of suicides, particularly among students under the age of 18, has become a grave concern. Increasingly, young individuals, overwhelmed by pressure, fear, and a sense of failure, are resorting to such irreversible decisions at an alarming rate. This growing crisis demands urgent and sustained attention, not only to uncover the underlying causes but also to implement meaningful interventions. In this context, engaging with scientific research is not merely advisable rather it is a moral imperative. The aim of this study is to develop a sensitive and holistic understanding of the issue, so we can truly comprehend the pain and conflict that is driving our youth towards suicidal ideation.
